This traditional Japanese bamboo deer chaser fountain, as known as "deer scarer" or "shishi odoshi" was originally designed to scare away birds and deers that were damaging agriculture - however,in today's modern age, the fountain serves as a beautiful central garden feature.  It is one of the most popular bamboo fountains used in homes, botanical gardens, patios, shopping centers, and fine gardens throughout the world.  

It is famously used as an antique as well because of it's unique history.

Deer Chaser fountain combines sound and motion to create a compelling water feature.  The fountain's bamboo arm rocks forward when it fills with water, then rocks back to make a gentle "clacking" sound.

Despite its elegant and antique look, this fountain is very easy to setup.  Bamboo Deer Chaser Fountain is designed as a single unit, mounted to a realistic, rock-like base.  Simply place the fountain next to a pond or a shallow container, put the pump in the water and enjoy.  

It is available in three sizes- Regular (6" tall), Large (12" tall), and X-Large (20" tall).

Submersible pump, tubing, and easy to set up instructions are included in the kit.  Mini-size is ideal for indoors.
