This is a traditional Japanese fountain, also known as Shishi Odoshi.  Teeter-Totter Bamboo Fountain creates a unique lift and fill pattern.  When the hinged bamboo is filled with water, it swings down and empties itself in the basin.  As the water empties in basin, it creates a calming meditative mountain stream sounds.  This indoor tabletop fountain is a great piece for your home or office decor.
